That frustration was one thing that motivated Stanford behavioral slimming beauty diet pills scientist Alice King to design her very own apps. Often, King has said, those apps dont depend on science-proven strategies for motivating behavioral changes, and therefore healthier habits and weight loss.
Research conducted recently published in the American Journal of Preventive Medicine confirms this assertion. It found that from the bevy of weight-loss available on the iTunes store and elsewhere, most do not employ those long-established strategies proven to bring about alterations in behavior.
Thirty commercially available apps were examined to determine whether or not they included any of 20 behavioral Botanical Slimming Reviews change strategies according to evidence. On average, the apps included less than 20 % of those methods. Seven of them were not found in any of the apps; only two had 13 of the 20.
Strategies included weight-loss setting goals, stress management, measuring food and reading nutrition labels.
